C2D2 announces the 2011 Drug Discovery Research Project recipients.

Our Mission

C2D2 is part of a State of Colorado-sponsored initiative to generate economic development based on bioscience research
(HB-08-1001) that is creating a unique academic drug discovery model which will be available to researchers within Colorado.

Utilizing the scientific expertise and resources which exist at Colorado research institutions, C2D2 will foster multi-disciplinary and inter-institutional drug discovery collaborations. Through the combination of collaborations, providing drug discovery expertise and establishing key elements of drug discovery infrastructure, C2D2 will advance drug discovery programs capable of:

• Generating discoveries that can be rapidly commercialized
• Increase the effectiveness of research faculty to attract funding sources
• Provide educational opportunities
• Grow Colorado’s skilled workforce
• Create the opportunity for new Colorado companies and employment opportunities
